This is a family-owned company that provides a multitude of waste management services. They are now on the lookout for a Trainee Sales Rep to join their team.

As a Trainee Sales Rep, you will be responsible for promoting and developing sales of it’s clinical waste services throughout Knowl Hill, Reading and the surrounding area.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager for Clinical Waste, you will focus on targeting clinical customers, including dental surgeries, care and nursing homes, GPs, health clinics, research facilities and tattoo studios.
You’ll develop an effective cold calling strategy, follow up on leads and aim to successfully convert enquiries into new contracts to provide waste services.
Helping to manage some of the company’s key clinical waste accounts, you’ll seek to maximise their profitability by up-selling services wherever possible. Above all, you’ll strive to provide an excellent level of customer service at all times.
Interested? To be considered, you must have:
– Some experience gained within a target-driven environment, ideally outbound telemarketing or field sales
– The proven motivation to successfully cold call
– Competence in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
– Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on providing the best level of service
– A full driving licence
As a Trainee Sales Rep, you must be a confident communicator with a flexible, customer focused approach. You must also be highly numerate and able to interact at all levels.
Working hours: 35 hrs per week, 9:00am – 5:00pm
