Our client is a family-owned company that provides a multitude of waste management services. They are now seeking a Sales Executive to join their team.

As a Sales Executive, you will be tasked with developing and securing new business for our client by creating sales of their waste management solutions.

Working specifically in the areas of clinical, pharmaceutical and offensive waste management, you will operate within the Clinical Waste Team to expand the business and maintain a high level of customer service.

You will manage and support key accounts, up-sell where possible and seek to maximise potential profitability.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, your other duties will include:

– Researching, developing and securing new business opportunities for the clinical waste business
– Implementing business development strategies for specific geographical areas
– Following up on leads, successfully converting enquiries and securing contracts
– Managing major clinical contracts
– Assisting Account Managers to review and audit key accounts

To be considered, you must have:

– At least two years’ experience in a targeted sales environment
– A good level of competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
– A full driving licence

Confident and articulate, as a Sales Executive, you must be accurate, discrete and flexible with the ability to multitask. Customer-focused and diligent, you must also be able to work effectively under pressure, operate well within a team and achieve deadlines every time.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others both internally and externally are also key.
