An NHS client in Lincolnshire is looking to recruit a clinical waste manager to join their current faculties team.

The role will be split into two parts.

• First part is the audit and review of the clinical waste policies andprocedures across the three NHS sites.This will also include assessing the private contractors who are involved with waste polices to review if they are providing the best services and cost for the trust.
• The second part of the role which is key for the management team toensure further success, is the engagement and education of the staff.All non medical and medical staff need to engaged and understand what the trust is tying to achieve with their waste policy to ensure there is continued improvement and development in this area.

The candidate for this role will be from a NHS background, be an excellent communicator and be able to update the management team on any new compliance issues based around this issue.
