Tissue waste disposal – or non-disposal – is becoming something of a theme. First, it’s the US military tissue retention ‘scandal’, then the illegal DIY retention of organs by a US doctor.

Today’s news brings news of yet more cases, firstly of an illegal stowaway falling to earth from a plane on its approach to Heathrow,  around a baby’s organs scattered  around Tooting Common Park, and a severed head retrieved from the Regent’s Canal.
