Waste Management & Recycling Company requires a forward thinking Senior Operations Manager from a General, Hazardous or Clinical waste background to cover operations at a busy facility

ROLE: Senior Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling

PACKAGE: £45-55K + Car, Bonus & Pension

LOCATION: Cheshire Area, you will be considered from Ellesmere Port, Chester, Deeside, Wrexham, Stoke, Liverpool, Manchester, Crewe, Runcorn and surrounding area

You may have worked in one of the following backgrounds: Commercial or Industrial Waste Management; Hazardous Medical or Clinical Waste Treatment; Municipal Waste; Anaerobic Digestion, Energy from Waste (EfW); Incineration; Energy Recovery Facility (ERF).

The client is a leading national Waste Management and Recycling services provider; they can offer progression and development to the right candidate

ROLE – Senior Operations Manager

The Senior Operations Manager will have full P & L responsibility for a Waste Management transport, collection and processing operations covering the North West area.

• You will be responsible for collection vehicles (managed via a Transport Manager)
• You will ensure that the site is meeting its KPI’s including processing throughput, EBIT, and Transport, Safety and environmental compliance
• You will be responsible for the smooth running of 2 treatment facilities (via Site Managers)
• You will be responsible for driving forward the performance of the operation.

EXPERIENCE – Waste Management

You MUST HAVE a proven track record as a General Manager Senior Operations Manager in a waste management environment

General, Medical, Hazardous, or Clinical Waste Management or recycling experience a plus, especially if you are WAMITAB COTC4 qualified

Engineering, CPC National, NEBOSH, IOSH, ADR, and any business management qualifications welcomed.

You MUST demonstrate stability in previous roles, specifically in a people management role.

Commercial acumen is essential to ensure the department remains profitable and competitive in the marketplace.
