A waste management & recycling company require a forward thinking Depot General Manager to cover operations at across a busy facility.
The client is a leading name is clinical waste management service collections, looking for a General Manager to cover Southern England, looking after a large staff force – they offer career development and training.

Role is across depots in Nottingham and London
You may have worked in one of the following backgrounds: Construction, General, Medical Hazardous, or Clinical Waste Management, Recycling Contract Management, Couriers, Parcels, Logistics, Haulage, ADR, Transport or other similar environments.

General Manager, Depot Manager, Service Manager, Depot Supervisor, Operations Manager
ROLE
The General Manager will have full P & L responsibility for a Waste Management transport, collection and processing operations covering the Kent area.
You will be responsible for around 60 staff and 50 vehicles
You will ensure that the site is meeting its KPI’s including processing throughput, EBIT, and Transport, Safety and environmental compliance
You will be responsible for driving forward the performance of the operation.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Waste Management General Manager
You MUST HAVE a proven track record as a General Manager or Depot Operations Manager in a logistics, collections or delivery environment.
Construction, General, Medical Hazardous, or Clinical Waste Management or recycling experience a plus, especially if you are WAMITAB COTC4 qualified
CPC National, NEBOSH, IOSH, ADR, and any business management qualifications welcomed.
You MUST demonstrate stability in previous roles, specifically in a people management role.
Commercial acumen is essential to ensure the department remains profitable and competitive in the marketplace.
