Account Manager Southern region – Clinical Waste

JobsA successful, international provider of clinical waste services to the NHS, Dentists, Doctors surgeries and other healthcare related clients such as Nursing Homes is looking to appoint to a new role. The successful applicant will report to the National Customer Excellence Manager and will cover accounts in the South of England area. (Most accounts are South East or London based)

The role focuses on key account management making field based calls on existing accounts, building relationships with staff and carrying out audits as to the quality of the service provided by the company. There will be liaison with Operational staff to resolve queries and Sales staff to inform them of potential upselling or new business opportunities. Comprehensive training will be provided both in the territory and with internal departments to learn about the clients’ products and services. There will be around 12 major accounts in the territory to manage.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of A level grade qualifications plus at least 2 years’ Account Management or Customer Services experience in a service industry, ideally serving the healthcare/NHS sector. You will have a positive attitude, be team oriented and self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The client offers a base salary of £28,000 plus £5,000 KPI related bonus, company car and healthcare.
