A high service, profitable business and a market leader in the collection and disposal of clinical, hazardous and offensive waste streams. They are currently seeking a Technician in the Belfast area to provide a premium quality of clinical waste collection to service our customers such as Doctors, Dentists and Nursing homes to ensure total satisfaction whilst ensuring that servicing customer requirements is in accordance to service schedules and routes on your area
This is initially a Part-Time position working 24 hours per week, ideally Monday to Wednesday; however there is a possibility that this role may become Full Time. There may also be an opportunity to work more hours to cover sickness and holidays.
Your key relationships will be with the Service Support Officers who are responsible for planning the routes in addition to the other Technicians within your Branch.
The main responsibilities and duties of this role will include the following:
- Ensuring calls are completed in route order within stated working hours
- Ensure that service procedures, processes and systems of work issued are followed
- Complete all hazardous waste consignment notes accurately and correctly
- Have knowledge and understanding of the product range and provision of service
Candidates must hold a full driving licence with no more than 6 points and must be eligible to drive up to a 7.5 tonne vehicle for business use. Having an ADR Certificate would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided for this in addition to a Digital Tachograph card.

Interesting that this job is called Technician, but that doesn’t really matter. However, we can’t overlook the fact that the premium title doesn’t seem to attract a premium salary!
