class 2 HGV Clinical waste collection driver – permanent

… are seeking a Class 2 Driver/Operative to work in the clinical waste industry driving an SCV tipper vehicle. All applicants must have a Class 2 licence as well as a Digital Tacho Card. Drivers CPC & ADR Training desirable but not essential.
A clean driving licence would be preferable but we do allow up to a max of six points, however No IN or DD on licence in the last 5 years due to company insurance.

This vacancy involves 1300hrs start time for a 5 (FIVE) hour daily shift
Duties will be driving from our depot in Bury St. Edmunds to a depot in the South End area collecting/ loading bagged clinical waste and tipping the load at a landfill site in Great Blakenham.

The rate of pay is £8.50 per hour – 25hr week

It can’t be right to put these wastes into landfill, but such is the blind and foolish tick-box mentality of the Environment Agency who will not permit more environmentally sound waste processing to be developed for these low grade sanitary/offensive wastes.

But these days, a job is a job.
