An Australian lady faces a long and agonising wait for an all-clear after a needlestick injury from a hypodermic needle left in the mailbox outside her home in Hampton, Victoria.
“[She] was jabbed by the uncapped needle when she reached into her mailbox this morning.
“When I got pricked I looked down and (there) was a needle syringe sticking out of my letters. I thought, ‘Oh my god’,” Ms Renata said.
“It went right through my hand, went right to the bone. That’s what really freaked me out.”
