It seems there is no end to the places that IV dug users will try to hide their needles and syringes, often placing others in danger of a sharps injury in the process. But this one takes the biscuit!

A 24-year-old Minneapolis woman escaped police custody by climbing through a hospital ceiling after hiding a loaded heroin needle in her vagina. Hennepin County deputies were in the process of booking Angel Benjamin on  Friday when they realized she needed medical attention before entering the jail.

Deputies were searching Benjamin with a small metal detection wand when it  sounded near her groin. According to charging documents, police said she denied  having anything there but eventually admitted there was a needle containing  heroin in her vaginal region and could not get it out!
