Good to see that the Bio-Bin range is extending yet again. The latest addition is a Bio-Bin for anatomical waste, ranging from placentae to larger tissue waste items.

Bins are pre-labelled and flat-packed for easy storage and transport, leak-proof and  robust with integral handles. In fact, they seem to be everything that the simple plastic waste sack or rigid bin is not. And presumably environmentally preferable, though I have seen no proof.

The Clinical Waste Discussion Forum does not provide any product endorsement, and of course carries no advertising in compliance with HONCode principles. However, we note that the Bio-Bin range is available from NHS Supply Chain and, as far as we know, is used without any problems.
