Reduce, re-use, recycle. We hear it often but sometimes it is simply not appropriate.

A Colorado dentist, Dr Stephen Stein, stands accused of possibly exposing patients to HIV by reusing  syringes and needles. Police and prosecutors are considering a criminal investigation of the allegations that  Stein’s practice reused syringes and needles for patients getting intravenous  drugs.

Reduce, re-use, recycle is a mantra drummed into each of us, though just occasionally it is a hugely dangerous step too far!
