Jamaica invests in ATT processing

The Cabinet of Jamaica has approved a US$899,668 contract to Ecodas Limited for the supply and installation of medical waste equipment at the Southeast Medical Waste Treatment Facility.

This new autoclave facility will more than double the disposal capacity of the island and provide much-needed disposal option for wastes from some of the island’s hospitals as well as private clinics, a total of approximately 1,597 tonnes per annum.
