Managing lateral flow device (LFD) testing waste: RPS C25

The Environment Agency have released RPS C25, to explain when you can accept LFD testing waste coded 18 01 04 and 18 01 07 or 20 01 99 without varying your permit.

Useful perhaps, but now that there is an increasing number of larger businesses using these devices in their offices and factories, and indeed are increasingly called upon to do exactly that, with the devices supplies free of charge, there can be no doubt that the used kitw will end up in plastic recyclables and/or general trade refuse.
