A 1-day meeting in London on 22nd July 2008, to discuss the impact of HTM 07-01
This workshop’s principal aim is to share the experiences of those who have had to put policy into practice. The NHS must continuously seek to improve its efficiency, productivity and performance in order to provide the best value for taxpayers’ money, recognising that best care and best value go together. It must be committed to the sustainable use of resources and aim to reduce use of energy and other natural resources, minimise production of waste and contribute to the sustainable development of the wider community. Innovative approaches in this area not only make sense from an environmental standpoint, but can also make big financial savings!
