The BDA are now saying that: "Clinical Waste Classification - Environment Agency opinion: All clinical waste should now be classified as hazardous waste," Surely this should be completed on the hazardous nature of the waste as per the guidance document and not as an all encompassing statement. If the waste is non hazardous it should be categorised correctly as per its EWC code. Opinions would be welcome. First posted: 11 Jan 2008
