Medical waste dumped on Gisborne beach
"The dumping of medical waste Gisborne's popular Midway Beach has disgusted a man whose two-year-old son went to play with the tangle of tubes and syringes.
"Chris Rowe was walking along the beach with his partner and son on Saturday, when his boy ran over to a pile of colourful tubes. "On closer inspection, Mr Rowe saw the tubes and syringes were full of a liquid substance which to him looked like blood.
"There were full-on hospital tubes coming out of the syringes," Mr Rowe said.
