Needle and syringe used in armed robbery

A needle and syringe was used in a Nambour, South East Queensland, armed robbery.

A 34-year-old woman was returning to her vehicle in a supermarket car park when a man approached from behind.

The man, armed with a needle and syringe, demanded money. He left the scene on foot with a sum of cash.

Fortunately, the woman was not physically injured though probably quite shaken in this thankfully rare though not previously unknown incident.
