All credit to Dundee, who are clearly delivering the service that they promise.
While a previous audit of Local Authority approaches to clearing of discarded drug litter identified generally poor quality and inadequate services, and in some instances totally unacceptable services, Dundee claims a 24 hour helpline for reporting needle finds. In some instances, these 24 hour reporting lines have been nothing more than an answerphone, but test calls to Dundee confirm their claim that this is, truly, a manned telephone line.
All praise to Dundee.
