To be effective in reducing the problems associated with discarded drug litter and the sharps injury risk that goes with this, placement of secure sharps bins in key locations has proved particularly effective. Public toilets are the obvious first choice, though in some areas sharps bins have been proposed in parks and gardens, and even in a churchyard used regularly by IDUs.

Sad that this is necessary, but all praise to BK for acknowledging and dealing with a problem in this way.
