A nice compact but informative guide on best management practices for veterinary pharmaceutical disposal is available from the American Veterinary Medical Association. Lots of simple straightforward information on the disposal of drug wastes from veterinary practice, though as yet no suggestion of how to deal with the 99.999% of veterinary drugs that end up excreted in urine or faeces!
